Transfer Press Line Tooling Operator since 11 years
Having joined the company in September 2014, I initially joined the Tooling department before being offered my current position in the Presses sector, which is closer to my initial training.
Transfers work differently to other presses. Here the stamping is done in several stages. The parts move from one station to another to undergo different cutting operations.
It’s important to produce parts that comply with the specifications on time. For example, when I notice an anomaly such as a variation in thickness, I immediately inform the Quality department. This also involves visually checking the appearance of the parts when the hoppers are validated.
Being dynamic and helping others are two values that I hold dear! When my schedule allows it, I don’t hesitate to support my colleagues in the Presses or Sorting sectors. Getting dirty or breaking a nail? I’m not afraid of that!
